Our Folkstyle season is for wrestlers PreK-6th Grade while our Freestyle/Greco season is for wrestlers from PreK-12th Grade.

To participate in the Forest Lake Wrestling Club you do not need to live in the district.

Forest Lake Youth Wrestling Club is made up of a community of children, parent support, coaches, and volunteers. This wrestling program was designed for the youth level, preschool to 6th grade. FLYWC believes that wrestling builds character, discipline, and teaches the individual to set and achieve goals in life. We hope to promote the physical, mental, social and emotional development of our athletes through hard work, commitment, competition, and camaraderie. It has been shown that when children participate in sports they are at a much lower risk to participate in illegal activities such as drugs, alcohol, and crime while learning respect and friendship within their community.

Our goal is to develop champions on the mat and in life through a structured program based upon values, commitment, healthy habits and skills development. We will emphasize the fundamentals of wrestling to include basic skills, drills, and techniques in a fun and positive manner. They will gain knowledge of wrestling and will have the opportunity to travel for competition across our state and potentially at the national level.
